Old Yearnings do Not Fade

No need to give away
Dreams that haven't been steady
Just meet another day
And be again quite ready
For burning desires to burn
And give of their thousands or more
And something from this all learn
When you are wholesome and sure

Photobucket

Year shall be going on to lost
For everything drifts here on
Or becomes like the leaf's rust
When life from the times are gone
Decades will fly and you'll long
Every footstep that went away
Remember each touch so strong
That once was here but couldn't stay

Photobucket

Old yearnings do not fade
They just become so ‘newfangled’
When daylights in sunsets are made
And differently weaved and tangled

d i r e c t i o n ?

Where do we go from here?
How do we carry on?

 I can't get beyond the questions.
Clambering for the scraps
In the shatter of us collapsed.
That cuts me with every could-have-been

Pain on pain on play, repeating With the backup makeshift life in waiting.

Everybody says: "Time heals everything."
But what of the wretched hollow?
The endless in-between?
Are we just going to wait it out?

There's nothing to see here now,
Turning the sign around;
We're closed to the Earth 'til further notice.
Stumbling cliché case -
Crumpled and puffy-faced -
Dead in the stare of a thousand miles.

All I want: only one street-level miracle.
I'll be a an out-and-out, born again from none more cynical.

Everybody says that time heals everything all in the end.
But what of the wretched hollow?
The endless in-between?
Are we just going to wait it out?

And sit here cold?
We'll be long gone by then.
And lackluster in dust we lay
'round old magazines.
Fluorescent lighting sets the scene
For all we could and should be being
In the one life that we've got.

In the one life that we've got. Everybody says that time heals everything.

But what of the wretched hollow?
The endless in-between?

Are we just going to wait it out?
Sit here. Just going to wait it out?

Sit here cold. Just going to sweat it out?
Wait it out.

s h o o t l o c a t i o n: intramuros manila

You can't run from love;

Love is making you run;

Love is everywhere you've been;

Everything you've ever done.

 So don't you run, my love,

 Please don't turn and go;

Everything that's part of you,

Is a part of me, and so,

I knew the first time I saw you

I'd loved you in my past

But I never knew re-incarnation Could happen so fast.

Hold my hand,

I'm older than eighteen;

I've been with you 10,000 years,

Living in a timeless dream.

Don't run, don't run, don't run;

Say you'll never leave;

Your heart is my heart,

please believe.

D e e p F e e l i n g s (Love)

Lost in the light
 An authentic taste of what's right
 Clouded by joy in a ocean of love

Knowing of my destiny
 feeling it in the depths of my soul
 I feel this because of the inner contentment inside
 Acknowledging that emotion won't ever die

Being that my soul was captured there in your eyes
Something like a drug you take me to a natural high

Evantually I'd seen a reflection
 of your heart showing me such affection

Love is a paradise
 Full of happiness and bliss
 I'd see the love and it is powerful

Passionately, I'd feel the beautiful melodies
 with which my heart chimes

And in that moment our spirits would intwine
 And the likes of wild flames our hearts burn
 And if flowers should blossom than so will our love
 Hearts of fire

One true desire
 A love that is of true superior wealth
 Because of it being naturally genuine
 It will forever remain durableand will forever burn within us baby
