Old Machines

How old is too old
To have purpose
In the world?

This old heart
Still has a passion;
A wisdom I am told,
Experience in living
A willingness to share,
Encouragement for a heart;
A kind, listening ear.

How old is too old
To offer my hand
And care?

A dimmer light
Still burns.

Classical Music

                                             Classical one is everlasting

Classical singers go begging.
Film vocalists flourish.
Hard-coated seed never dies,
Though late and slow in sprouts.

Shakespeare is poorly read
but is read over generations.

Fading Light

stay
watch the fading of the light
stay and savor
the new darkness
it owns you.

Sweet Love, Love Of My life

Sweet love, love of my life
I have learnt to quench my thirst without water
I have quenched my thirst with the sweet nectar of
Your oceans of kisses
And they have sustained me

Sweet love, love of my life
I have learned to fulfill my hunger without food
I have fulfilled the hunger with the fruits of
Your blossoming love
And it has nourished me

Sweet love, love of my life
I have learnt to achieve my freedom without demand
I have achieved my freedom with the key that
Fits effortlessly into the lock on your heart
And now it beats in time with mine

Sweet love, love of my life
I have learnt to accept each day as it comes without fear
I have accepted life with the guidance of the light of
Understanding which glows in your eyes.
And see how it reflects this true love of mine
